I'm a Chicago based Senior Motion Designer and Visual Effects Artist. I pride myself on having knowledge in many fields, from photography, on set filming, to 2D and 3D. I'm constantly striving to learn more, find new avenues of creative exploration, and am always pushing myself to become a better artist.
My strengths include motion graphics, visual effects, and clean up. I have transitioned from a full time 3D artist to a full time 2D artist who has knowledge in the 3D world. I have found more enjoyment in the vfx workflow than anything else; easing transitions from 3D artists to 2D compositors, and making sure those up and down the pipeline get everything they need and more. I’m also comfortable being on set, and making sure that things are shot correctly for the post production team.
I love mentoring those who are newer to the industry; answering tech questions when they come up, managing a team, and nuturing others’ talents. I am very comfortable leading a meeting, talking to clients, and making sure everyone’s happy and enjoying the process.
My programs include After Effects, Maya, C4D, Nuke, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
I am currently looking for freelance or full time employment opportunities.
Outside of work you can find me hanging with my pup, attending myriad car and motorcycle shows, cooking up a storm, figure skating, and my favorite old lady tendency, knitting and crocheting. I'm just living my life as it comes, and exploring the wonderful city I live in with the most amazing people by my side, including the best husband a girl could ask for.
